Inaugurated on 21 September 1961 and then on 5 June 2019, the new trilingual exhibition clearly and openly addresses essential themes such as humanity in times of war, the individual responsibility of soldiers, war crimes, military burials, the meaning of commemorations and the work of remembrance. The 1,220 globe maples planted in the Garden of Peace are symbols of peace.
