Created by the town and Reporters Without Borders, this unique place reflects Bayeux's commitment to defending press freedom. The Reporters' Memorial offers a landscaped walkway lined with white steles engraved with the names of more than 3,000 journalists killed around the world since 1944 while carrying out their work.
