Airborne Museum

The museum is dedicated to the soldiers of the 6th British Airborne Division, who were the first liberators to set foot on Normandy soil on the night of 5-6 June 1944. A visit to the museum begins with a historical presentation based around a model, followed by the screening of an archive film. The tour continues in the museum grounds with the discovery of the famous Pegasus bridge, a Bailey bridge and the impressive life-size replica of a Horsa glider.
