The museum is devoted to the 6th British Airborne Division, the first liberators to set foot on Norman soil on the night of June 5th to 6th 1944. The museum tour begins with a historical presentation around a model, followed by the screening of an archive film. The tour continues in the museum grounds with a visit to the famous Pegasus Bridge, a Bailey bridge and an impressive full-scale replica of a Horsa glider.
