Situated opposite the remains of the artificial harbour at Arromanches, the D-Day Museum traces the history of 6 June 1944 and the vital role played by the artificial harbours in the Battle of Normandy. Over 1,200 m², the museum features artefacts, archive films, animated models, testimonies and a large-scale projection, immersing you in the heart of this exceptional human, military and technological achievement. A visit lasting around 1hr30 to understand history where it was made.
