Abbaye de Longues

The Benedictine Abbey of Longues offers an exceptional insight into religious life in Normandy during the Middle Ages. The restoration work carried out has now made it a jewel in the crown of Normandy's heritage, selected in 2019 as part of the project led by Stéphane BERN. Exceptional restoration work has been carried out there: first by reopening the choir of the old church to the public in 2022, & then by preserving the oldest Armorican-style roof structure in Normandy in the hostelry in 2023
