Château de Fontaine Henry

Château de Fontaine-Henry, between Bayeux and Caen is home to some of "France's highest roofs". This monument is one of the most spectacular in Normandy and is a former fortress, beautifully decorated during the Renaissance. It has never changed hands, it is still inhabited and houses a huge collection of paintings.
