Le Saumonier Bayeux

Visit an artisan fish and shellfish smoking workshop in Bayeux, close to the D-Day beaches: Le Saumonier de BAYEUX. Traditional smoking, using string and beech wood. Hand filleting, dry salting, preparing the fish for smoking, hand slicing...: during the TOUR, learn all the secrets of an artisanal smoking workshop. At the end, Jean-Marc or Olivier will give you a demonstration of slicing and a tasting session.

Standard TOUR: 5€ per person
It includes a guide, a demonstration of knife slicing and a tasting of smoked salmon.

Premium TOUR: 15€ per person
It includes a guide, a knife-cutting demonstration and tasting of various smoked fish and shellfish depending on the season (smoked salmon always included), accompanied by a glass of white wine.
