THE D-DAY LANDING BEACHES EXPLAINED TO CHILDREN

This fun and educational walking tour has been specially designed for families and young people. Arromanches is a pretty seaside resort that entered history on 6 June 1944 and is situated right in the middle of the D-Day landing zone, equidistant from Utah Beach to the west and Sword Beach to the east. In addition, it contains all the elements needed to tell and explain the D-Day landings in a concrete and visual way, from its genesis to its consequences and the way it took place.
