This route will offer you a tour of Port-en-Bessin-Huppain and its highly active fishing harbour, particularly during the scallop fishing season.

Set off from the site of the German artillery battery in Longues-sur-Mer, a major site on the Atlantic Wall, and follow the heights of the Bessin cliffs. This route offers you a magnificent panoramic view over the vestiges of the artificial harbour in Arromanches.

On the outskirts of Bayeux, from the village of Vaux-sur-Aure, meander your way through the Aure valley on an encounter with the legend of the Argouges fairy and the Argouges Manor.

Crisscrossing the green countryside on both sides of the Seulles River south of Bayeux, the itinerary offers a nice bucolic stroll for the whole family.

Departing from Vienne-en-Bessin, take to the heights and follow the paths that overlook the Seulles valley. Along this verdant valley, you will discover some fine panoramic views and striking built heritage in the villages or along the banks of the Seulles.

From the church in Ryes, climb up to the Monts de Ryes plateau that overlooks the Gronde valley. From there, you can marvel at the panorama over Ryes, to the south, and Saint-Côme-de-Fresné and the artificial harbour in Arromanches to the north.

From the town hall in Subles, take the pretty narrow roads and set off on a discovery trail of the countryside and the typical bocage landscapes along the banks of the Drome.
