Port-en-Bessin-Huppain is Normandy's number one small-scale fishing port and especially famous for its scallops. Each year, the Le Goût du Large festival celebrates scallops and seafood for a whole weekend. Amateur sailors also enjoy great facilities in season at Port-en-Bessin-Huppain with a welcome jetty, toilets, showers and an eating area. The tourist information office has opened a "pleasure-boating reception" next to the tourist office. You can also visit the port town during guided tours on offer from the Léopold Sédar Senghor cultural centre and the "back from fishing" events organised by the tourist information office.
